As Mike Tyson so eloquently put it, “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.” While riding on a bike path in Houston at the beginning of the year, I collided head-on with another rider. I sustained four fractured ribs, a punctured and partially collapsed lung, a lacerated liver and a fractured vertebra.
