Look at what I did! All by myself!! Ok, I got a lot of help from Jesse and Google (isn’t the internet amAzing??), but I’ve learned so much through this little project. Before I decided to completely re-do my site I could hardly put together a post (made evident by my scarce blogging) without a manual, but now I can actually update my race schedule and “code” doesn’t just look like a massive typo. It’s been a very cool learning experience, and I’m psyched to finally be able to show you what I’ve been working on! The biggest difference, obviously, is the look, but I’ve also added this nifty Twitter feed (eyes right), made the Schedule and Results pages easier to update, and used Photoshop and a nice theme to put together that sweet menu you see up top. I know this is no big deal for many folks, but it’s like the first time you tie your shoes as a little kid: you just want to run around and shout, “See what I did?! See?! SEE?!!”
