I have not watched an ironman in a long time.  Mikaela, Chrissie, and I had so much fun!  

My 2009 tri season is in the books, and I’m well into my recovery phase, so I figured I’d put together a little photo tribute to the season.    

What better place to start than the beginning?  The swim went well.  

Gooooood Morning!!  I just finished up my pre-race breakfast, and just wanted to say thank you to a few people before I head out for the day:  

Heyo!  We’re here!  We’ve actually been here since Saturday, but I’ve been busy… Ok, no I haven’t.  But I have been getting a lot of rest!  

The taper is in full swing!  Had a nice recovery week last week, raced  the boys on Saturday at a local sprint, and have a decent but tapered  bit of training this week.  

We spent last weekend racing and training up in South Berwick, Maine.  I raced the Pumpkinman Sprint on Saturday, and Tim the Half Iron on Sunday.    

It started Sunday around 3pm.  Tim casually mentioned that his stomach didn’t feel so great.  We figured that he was still just a bit full from breakfast (those were some BIG pancakes!) and he’d be fine in a little while.  

This past weekend we headed up to New Hampshire for quite the weekend of racing and training.  It started with Timberman Sprint on Saturday morning.
